This lighthouse is located in Door County Wisconsin. Congress appropriated $12,000 on March 3, 1881 for the construction of the lighthouse to mark the entrance into Sturgeon Bay. The light is a 10-sided lantern located 61 feet above the water. The lens is a fourth order fresnel bearing the markings, "Barbier & Fenestre, Constr. Paris, 1880". The light was automated in fall of 1983.
